EXAMINATION RULES
Secondary & Senior Secondary Classes:
- The duration of Unit Test would be 90 Minutes or all the three Unit Test that are required to be held.
- During the days of the Unit Test, the first three periods would be left for the Unit Test. After giving a small break for the remaining time left in the third period, normal school classes would be held from the 4th period onwards. Classes will be held for 5 periods as usual as per the normal time table earlier decided and no change needs to be made in it.
- Each Unit Test would be of 40 marks. The total marks for the 3 Unit Tests would, therefore, be 120.
- The school would provide stationery to the children. Answer books after evaluation and record of their result would be given to the children.
For Primary Classes (I and II):
- Promotion from class I and II will be decided on the basis of continuous & comprehensive assessment, made every month, of the work done in the class and assignment given to the children. No Unit Test, Half-Yearly Examination and Session Ending Examination would be held for them.
For Primary Classes (III to V):
- The question paper would be in the form of a booklet with space for answer in it.
- assessment would be in grades, subject-wise and overall.
- All other clauses as applicable to classes VI onwards will be applicable to classes III to V.
Supplementary Examination:
- The supplementary examination will be conducted only for class IX and XI.
- The supplementary examination shall be conducted 3 weeks after the declaration of the result.
Attendance:
A pupil may not be allowed to sit in the annual examination if he/she has not put in a minimum of 75% of the attendace of the academic session including attendance put in a previous school, if the student has been admitted on transfer.
